I love everything about this!!

Carol your writing is spectacular! Your perspective is raw and unfiltered, I love it!

It's nice to hear how men haven't changed over the decades. Some are still lying through their teeth about wanting a connection, but cannot wait to leap into bed on the first date. The only thing that's changed is the medium in which they try to form such "connection."

A few weeks ago a young man messaged me on Tinder, and within three sentences (about 30 seconds into the conversation), he wanted to meet me THAT NIGHT, 12AM, in some random area. I've never slapped my forehead harder. He said he wanted to "get to know me better."

Well good sir, if you think me leaving the comfort and safety of my home, during the ungodly hours, to meet some stranger I've barely exchanged two questions with, in the middle of a pandemic is "building a connection," then you have the wrong girl.

Sir, have you heard of sex trafficking?

I'm 100% sure, you can use your words to build said connection, until there comes a more APPROPRIATE HOUR and situation to meet in person.

There's so much excitement in good banter. I wish other people could see it too.
