I can completely relate to this. In my previous relationship my partner couldn’t understand why I wanted to spend a weekend alone. He mistook it as my way of “avoiding him”.

It’s takes a lot to exist. Your body is always on the move. Your mind is always running. The only time you can turn off is when you sleep; if you’re lucky to get enough of it.

Definitely! It does take a lot to exist, especially with the weight of everyone else’s expectations added on top.
